MY EXPERIENCE

Four decades.
A lot of technology.
One common thread.

Execution. From designing and building global networks for Wall Street firms as an IT architect to leading high-growth enterprise revenue teams, I have spent forty years in the trenches scaling high-stakes infrastructure—not just advising from the sidelines.

THE JOURNEY ↓
THE JOURNEY

Built on experience.

Different technologies. Different companies. Different challenges. But always the same goal: build something that lasts.

01 / THE FOUNDATION

Wall Street

Where it all started.

I started my career as a network engineer, designing and building the infrastructure supporting some of Wall Street's largest financial institutions. From trading floors to enterprise networks, I learned what it means to build technology that businesses depend on.

02 / THE TRANSFORMATION

Cisco

Bringing innovation to market.

Moving from engineering into technical sales changed how I thought about technology. I learned that the best solutions aren't necessarily the ones with the most features. They're the ones that solve meaningful business problems.

03 / THE BUILDER

Dell

Building a business after an acquisition.

Following Dell's acquisition of Force10, I was brought in to lead its networking business. We built the team, developed the go-to-market approach, and expanded the business significantly.

$4M → $100M
04 / THE GROWTH STORY

VMware

Scaling a new technology market.

I helped build the technical sales organization supporting VMware NSX during its growth from an emerging product into a major enterprise business.

$30M → $1B
05 / THE LEADER

HashiCorp / IBM

Great teams create great outcomes.

Leading technical sales teams through growth, organizational change, and acquisition reinforced something I've always believed: the right people, working together with a clear purpose, make all the difference.

Everything I've learned. Now working for you.

Today, I work directly with founders and technology leaders to help build the teams, processes, and enterprise revenue capabilities needed to turn promising technology into growing businesses.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED

A few things I've come to believe.

01

Great technology doesn't sell itself.

Customers don't buy features. They buy solutions to problems that matter to their business.

02

The right people change everything.

I've built and led teams throughout my career. The lesson that sticks with me is simple: hire thoughtfully, develop people, and give them room to succeed.

03

Experience matters most when you put it to work.

Advice is easy to give. Building something alongside people, working through the difficult decisions, and helping them succeed is where I find the greatest satisfaction.
